A New York City native, Ruth Gerson is a product of the High School of Performing Arts (brought to international attention by the Fame series and motion picture) and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Princeton University. After school, she started in on NYCs Village club scene. The extraordinary media acclaim she received at her very first live performances lead to the release of her first independent CD. With the release of the Wish EP Ruth and her band were invited to perform on Late Night with Conan OBrien.
