We Came as Romans (often abbreviated as WCAR) are an American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan. The band was formed in 2005 and has undergone several line-up changes. They signed with Equal Vision Records in 2009 and later moved to SharpTone Records in 2016. We Came as Romans have released seven studio albums: "To Plant a Seed" (2009), "Understanding What We've Grown to Be" (2011), "Tracing Back Roots" (2013), "We Came as Romans" (2015), "Cold Like War" (2017), "Darkbloom" (2022), and "All Is Beautiful.. Because We're Doomed" (2025), as well as two EPs released in 2008, "Demonstrations" and "Dreams".
