Not For Radio is the solo project of The Marias' band member e co-founder María Zardoya. The singer announced this project on a livestream on August 20, 2025 wearing a t-shirt that said "I made a solo project", later posted on Instagram. Born in Puerto Rico and growing up in Atlanta, María's solo project explores a lovelorn, more intimate sound. Conceived in wintry isolation, the celestial debut album Melt saw its release in October 2025, being followed by a Zero 7 remix. In 2026, the EP Bloom was released, delivering three new songs from the alternative reality of María.
