Interpol is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1997, consisting of members Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler, and Carlos Dengler (later replaced by Sam Fogarino). The band is known for their post-punk revival sound and has released several acclaimed albums including their self-titled debut in 2002 and 'Antics' in 2004.
