Ikkimel (bourgeois Melina Gaby Strauß) is a German rapper from Berlin-Tempelhof. Her texts are mostly provocative and shaped by explicit, often sexualized content and often deal with atzentism, parties, drugs and sex, Whereby she incorporates the background word games and questioned ironically traditional masculinity pictures. Musically, it combines hyperpop and jersey club elements with chopped beats as well as trance and house samples. She describes her style as "Fotzenstyle." She completed a combination bachelor in German philology and social and cultural anthropology with a focus on linguistics at the Free University of Berlin.
