Hayden Everett grew up in the San Francisco bay area, where he developed his passion for songwriting and the outdoors. With roots in jazz piano as well as folk and indie music, Hayden’s sound leans into lush harmony, smooth soundscapes, and heavy hitting rhythm. His music inspires peace, recognizes beauty, and sits in both doubt and joy. He strives to create more compassion and wonder through the songs he writes. In 2018, Hayden joined the likes of Sara Bareilles and Maroon 5 when he won UCLA’s widely regarded Spring Sing competition, a songwriting showcase held for an audience of 10,000.
