Digable Planets is an American hip hop group formed in 1990, consisting of members Ishmael Butler, Mary Ann Vieira, and Mariana Vieira. The trio is best known for their 1993 debut album "Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space)," which won a Grammy Award and featured the hit single "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)," becoming one of the first hip hop acts to win a Grammy in the Best New Artist category.
